astronomy & Astrophysics
Students will be exposed to the historical development of observational astronomy, including traditional and modern observational techniques. Theories of formation and evolution of stars, planets and galaxies, as well as discussions of current developments in astronomy, cosmology and astrophysics. Software will allow for the remote use of a telescope and there will be an emphasis on applied problem solving.
