ACCELERATED CREDIT
Credit for high school level mathematics is based on course codes used by the middle school and a passing grade earned on the State Regents examination. Student who pass (>65) the Algebra exam will be palced in Geometry. Students who pass both Algebra and Geometry (>65) will be placed in Algebra II & Trigonometry.
Incoming students who have passed all three required courses and the corresponding examinations will be individually assessed for appropriate course placement.
CLASS PLACEMENT
All students will have the opportunity to study calculus while attending Brooklyn Tech regardless of the starting class*
* Provided the student passes all math classes while attending Tech.
